Artistic Frustration, this determining aspect for a Unique Art
The radio hook, which later became tele-hook, is the program par excellence for discovering singers with undeniable talents. Born in the radio years in the 30s, until becoming popular in the 50s, the radio-hook, initially organized as a traveling song festival, gave way to the tele-hooks which attracted, since their appearance, more candidates and viewers thanks to the originality of their concepts and the artistic reputation of their winners.
Today, the tele-hook which seems to be the only means of judgment and evaluation of the performance and the beauty of the voice, does not stop arousing the disappointment and the annoyance of the televiewers and observers, but especially of the candidates in competition. Although they have provided us with names of great caliber, these television programs have developed the feeling of “Artistic Frustration” creating more frustrations over the years. Viewers are a big part of it.
